NHS Choices have some excellent information on assistance they can provide. Some of the information they give links with the Hampshire County Council Services: to go straight to their advice page on funding

They regulate health and adult social care services in England, whether they're provided by the NHS, local authorities, private companies or voluntary organisations. And, they protect the rights of people detained under the Mental Health Act.
CQC have excellent advice and guidance, however, the following links take you directly to advice regarding funding

DirectGov provide Information regarding Disabled, Health and Well-Being although most leads back to your Local Authority. Click on the banner opposite < for further information of Social Services

Age Conern has an excellent website that gives advice and tips to those of us who are getting older.
Click on their logo opposite <.

They also offer a FREEPHONE NUMBER where they will help to go through your current benefits and hopefully recommend whether you are claiming what is due to you:

Money matters

Since 1991 nhfa have helped thougsand of families cope with long-term care problems.

"We provide advice to individuals who have little or no capital on issues such as rights to care services, local authority charging procedures, obtaining Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) benefits or meeting fees. We also produce an extensive range of fact sheets providing individuals and those advising others with the information they need to obtain what they may be rightfully entitled to".
The Support you or a loved one needs can sometimes cost more than your existing Income will provide for. However, there are many organisations that can at least give advice regarding funding. We would advise in the first instance to speak with the County Council Social or  Adult Services Department

In all cases it is worth while having someone, family member, close friend or Advisor with you when you start to talk and engage with those that maybe offering you finacial support. If you don't have someone living close or do not have someone you can trust you can ask Social Services to provide an "Advocate" which in most cases is a FREE service.

The main point when it comes to both the Care and the Funding you need is that it can sometimes be confusing and sadley, there are some people who will try and take advanatge of you for their own gain.

Just to note, Lillyfields, for all the reasons mentioned above, cannot get directly involved in your funding needs and the advice, links and contact information is given here purley has a "limited Directory"  with the aim of making it easier for you to access a range of information and organisations that might be able to help
(Lillyfields Care does not receive commission, paid advertising or moneys from any Commercial Organisation that appear on this Website
